A entire Hotel filled with Art. Each Photographer designed one Room. My Room “The North” is a Tribute to the Farm of my Grandfather which was situated 100 kilometres away from Hamburg. The pictures at the wall where made in the style of the “Friedhofsmaler” (cemetary painter). A generation of painters with a World War II trauma who loved and painted the quiet and undramatic northern landscapes. Some interior was taken from the Farm to set the Room.
